Use the cloud platform together with your data centers, networks, and network security, enhanced with our consulting and professional services, and sustained with support services and managed services to grow and protect your network. Using the cloud at the core of the network lets you respond quickly, frees up capital, allows you to scale up or down to meet unknown demand, and reduce costs. Cloud computing quickly evolved from small-scale uses — often for short-term projects or test and development. Ensuring secure cloud connections is paramount to easing business concerns about moving workloads to the cloud, and a growing number of cloud networking options can help. Enterprise cloud deployments have us — to more diverse and broad-based applications supporting more important workloads. Hybrid cloud — we can cover every possible permutation of a private and public cloud platform including managed on site IT, and third-party cloud services.
The private cloud platform — delivered as-a-service from your data center, providing a cost-effective, rapid deployment cloud model. Public clouds will satisfy even the most demanding enterprise users with a network centric design, multiple layers of security, and high availability. As cloud services have become more sophisticated, enterprise comfort level with the cloud model has increased. Of the 930 enterprises surveyed in research funded by SaaS provider Rightscaler, 93% are running applications or trialing IaaS. With the push to use the cloud to support more critical enterprise application workloads, cloud implementations have become more complex, sometimes connecting on premises applications with a third-party cloud or requiring the transfer of workloads between and among multiple clouds. This puts the spotlight on how critical secure cloud network services are in facilitating consistent performance and the secure movement of workloads between and among clouds and the customer’s premises.

Beyond the usual networking concerns about data loss and jitter, enterprise customers may have concerns about the commingling of data in transit. Other issues that surface regarding secure cloud network connectivity include questions about unauthorized access to adjacent resources and applications, and the ability to adjust bandwidth to handle bursts and dips in traffic volume. Connecting to a provider’s cloud facility via the public internet may be the default option, but most cloud providers offer customers alternative connections with a greater degree of control and cloud platform security. Amazon Web Services provides customers with AWS Direct Connect, a service that enables customers to connect directly via a virtual private connection to AWS facilities from their own enterprise data centers. Amazon Direct Connect is delivered via dozens of partners around the world. Dell EMC Native Hybrid Cloud — a developer platform that delivers an easy path to cloud native applications and option for data analytics.

Business continuity and disaster recovery — cloud back up, archiving, and disaster recovery with SLAs offers business continuance during a network disruption. Consulting and professional services — assess your applications and data for cloud. We plan the optimum deployment model, considering physical, virtual, cloud, or hybrid options. We plan the change, and provide the people to carry out the actual migration. Once in place, we optimize performance and cost benefit, and ensure compliance with governance and policy. The Cloud Managed Services Wide Area Network infrastructure is a proven enterprise class network architecture, built using carrier-grade routers, switches and management foundation. You can choose one or more WAN connectivity options to bring the cloud platform environment into your enterprise network. Secure access is available through an IPsec based Virtual Private Network (VPN) over the Internet from network locations, remote offices, and trusted partners.
Hybrid Cloud
The hybrid cloud platform is a cloud computing environment which uses a mix of on premises, private cloud and public cloud services with orchestration between the two platforms. By allowing workloads to move between private and public clouds as computing needs and costs change, hybrid cloud gives greater flexibility and more data deployment options. Hybrid cloud at the core lets you respond quickly, frees up capital, allows you to scale up or down to meet unknown demand, and reduce costs. You can deploy an on premises private cloud to host critical workloads, but use a public cloud, such as Google Compute Engine, to host less critical resources, such as test and development workloads. To hold customer—facing archival and backup data, a hybrid cloud could also use AWS S3. By spreading out over a hybrid cloud, you keep each aspect at your business in the most efficient environment possible. You have to keep track of multiple security platforms and ensure that all aspects of your business can communicate.
Private Cloud
A private cloud platform is one in which the services and infrastructure are maintained on a private network. These clouds offer the greatest level of security and control, but they require the company to still purchase and maintain all the software and infrastructure, which reduces the cost savings. The private cloud is a cost-effective, rapid implementation alternative to building or buying a Do It Yourself (DIY) private cloud. The private cloud is fully segregated, dedicated 100% to each client and delivered as-a-service. A private cloud is the obvious choice when your business is part of an industry that must conform to strict security and data privacy issues. Choose a private cloud when your business is your data and your applications. If an organization is large enough to run a next-generation cloud data center efficiently and effectively on its own then a private cloud is an excellent choice.
Public Cloud
A public cloud platform is one based on the standard cloud computing model, in which a service provider makes resources. The term public cloud arose to differentiate between the standard model and the private cloud. This is a proprietary network or data center that uses cloud computing technologies, such as virtualization. A private cloud is managed by the organization it serves. A third model, the hybrid cloud, is maintained by both internal and external providers. Examples of public clouds include AWS EC2, IBM Bluemix, Oracle Cloud, and Azure. The public cloud model, under which cloud services are provided in a virtualized environment, constructed using pooled shared physical resources, and accessible over a public network such as the internet. They can be defined in contrast to private clouds which ring-fence the pool of underlying computing resources, creating a cloud platform to which only a single organization has access.
